Aligning with Grace

Recently, I shared in a blog entry, how on several occasions I happened to have 11 emails in my inbox at 11:11 am. Well, I am both pleased and blessed to report that these wonderful occurrences continue! Several times a day I clean out my inbox (I REALLY am quite diligent about this task!) And guess what? I end up with 11 emails. This happens over and over again! Several times a day - day after day - and now week after week! I casually glance at the time - and yes - you guessed it - it is 11:11! I look at the dashboard on my car, and I notice I have 111 miles left on my current tank of gas. The clock might read 1:11 PM. And so it goes! All these wonderful reminders that I am not alone, and neither are you! Pay attention to all the wonderful synchronicities in your life and to the many signs you are receiving. The last few months have been stressful and fraught with all sorts of tensions and drama. I suspect many can say that it has been the same for them. I have always been interested in numerology, and I often see numerical patterns or sequences such as 11:11 or 12:12, 2:22, and so forth. Each one of these sequences has a unique meaning.  But we also have special combinations of numbers that speak only to us, and that only we see and recognize.  Mine is 10:17.  Often, throughout the course of the day, I might see different sequences several times. In fact, recently I wrote about seeing 11:11 on my dashboard as I was stopped at a red light. And lately, I am seeing patterns constantly, because I have definitely needed more reassurance than most times. So why are numbers important?  They are a reminder that we are not alone. 1.10.17. In numerology and metaphysics this sequence of numbers adds up to "one." The energy of "1" is the energy of new beginnings. This year, 2017 - also adds up to the number one. Again, the energy of new beginnings... Look around. Read the news. It is enough to scare you back into a cave. Your outlook could be bleak. Or not. You can believe the world is ending. Or it is beginning. It is your choice how you choose to see things. And how you choose to react. I am choosing to believe in new beginnings. I am choosing to heed the invitation of the energy of one, because this sequence of numbers is very near and dear to my heart for personal reasons. I arise early on this tenth day of the tenth month of the year 2010. This sequence of numbers, in metaphysical terms, reduces to the number three which is symbolic of rewards and successes, and invokes intuition, expression, and the joy of creativity. I make my way to the other side of the river for my yoga class, and as always, my teacher does not disappoint - but manages to inspire us while working and riding us hard. Yet, we all rise to the occasion as we work deeply with Inner and Outer Spiral - the third and fourth principles in Anusara Yoga's Universal Principles of Alignment - and quad stretches of all kinds. I am very much aware that recent astrological events are stirring the pot for many. For example, we have just witnessed a conjunction of 7 planets in a T square position - that has not occurred - and will not be repeated for centuries. This is referred to as a Cardinal Grand Cross . This month will also be a witness to 5 Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, and this happens once every 832 years! And from a numerological perspective, as a friend noted on Facebook yesterday, this is a call for greater balance and enlightenment in our lives. Much more could be said of all of these things, but suffice it for now to simply mention - that while our emotions may be challenged at this time, we must work hard at not giving in to them or being ruled by them.
